Hi
I am raising money for TADNSW's Freedom Wheels programme.
For most kids, riding a bike is a rite of passage, but for children with a disability it can seem impossible.
Freedom Wheels bikes are modified push bikes and specially designed to support and accommodate a child's specific disability.
The maximum cost of a Freedom Wheels bike is $2100 with the full amount of modifications and supports for a child with a disability. This includes costs such as research and development, regional and country clinics to assess children for their bike by therapists, purchase of equipment and materials and ongoing support and maintainence. Parents pay what they can but with all the expenses they face raising a child with a disability, there are many families who cannot afford a bike
By supporting my bike ride, you will be contributing to buying a bike for a child with a disability.
